This has become an addiction of mine; to hear you do some good covers on the one-of-a-kind guitars. The looper, the appropriate reverb or delay, is a real pleasure. Like stopping into a bar to have a drink and listen to some live. Very good, and great guitars showcased.

Me too, love hearing Mike in particular shred out on Fenders, not sure what his over preference, LP SG or whatever, but he always brings on some extra heat with Strats.

My first Fender was almost exactly this guitar. 35 years ago. Bought for me by my father as a HS graduation gift. Many strats since but that one was a good one for sure.

Clean as a whistle. Can’t beat the resonance of a hardtail as far as Strats go. Only thing it’s missing for me is a maple board. Sounds massive.

Great video!!! I still remember walking into our local music store in the late '70s and looking at a used hardtail Strat just like that one. It had been refretted with medium-jumbo frets and played like a dream. Unfortunately, none of us had the $200 that they wanted for it...

My first guitar was a maple neck 3 color sunburst hard tail 73 Strat bought used in 77 Wore out the frets in about 6 yrs took it in and the store owner made me a offer I should've refused. But the JB Player super strat was a fav guitar for yrs. It was stolen and in 96 I bought the Strat I'll die with. A 93 deluxe plus Strat. Only change made to this guitar all this yrs I've owned is a Hipshot Tremsetter installed within days of owning cranked the bridge to whammy up and down and haven't touched it since.

I bought a natural ash hardtail Strat new in 1974, with a maple neck and a white pickguard. I wound up getting a black pickguard for it, but I kept the white pickup covers and knobs. It looked great, but unfortunately it didn’t sound as good as this one-it was rather thin-sounding. I got a five-position switch when I got the black pickguard-it originally had a three-way. Lemmo as usual makes this one sound great! I love the Hendrix bit on the neck pickup!

My dream guitar is a hardtail HSS strat with a rosewood board. I have a maple HSS and a rosewood SSS but both have trems. Someday

I really enjoy your demos of different guitars. You play really well but could I make a suggestion? Please demo at least a couple of these beautiful guitars without reverb. Reverb sucks IMHO and you don't get a real appreciation for the pure sound of the guitar. I look forward to whatever you demo next.

@@jimmyfrombrooklyn8550 most of the time he does covers and will arrange them to how he has learned to play them and I’ve been playing well over 4 decades now and I know this song and have been going through my albums and iTunes because I know it just can’t figure it out.. I will though just a matter of time unless someone beats me to it😂 🤘🎸🤘
