This one is a longer video than usual due to the amount of media over such a long time, and wanting to put this series to bed without five more episodes. It's almost "choose your own adventure" because you can pause and read all the captions and make the experience even longer lol. I do apologize about the amount of portrait and Instagram footage. I also apologize about the somewhat subpar, even for me, audio. Had some setup issues and ultimately just recorded the 15 page script on my phone. It was so much to read that I found myself wandering from room to room which is why the acoustics change at times.

Glad you're back, and with a feature length presentation! xD It had its ups and downs, some good, some bad... hopefully the critics on Rotten Tomatoes aren't too harsh because of the length of time between the starting episodes and this sequel. The bike looks and sounds like a ripper, can't wait to hear the new exhaust!

It was great to see an alert for an Illestrator video. I hope you fully recover from the covid. I myself had a touch at Christmas time thanks to my nephew's friend. Anyways, have you heard of MotorcycleMD on KZfaq? Cody is a professional Honda mechanic and has his own home shop. He is expert with Honda's. Maybe you could reach out to him for hard to find parts. He likes the old Honda's. I think your CB came out great and it looks like great fun. Your patience is world class. There's something to be said about lower horsepower bikes as I found out with a 65rwhp 750 four, air cooled Kawasaki winter project. Take care.

I like it dude but is the rear tyre a cross ply? I know your on a budget but radial mixed with cross plys is an issue. Id look for a 17 rear to match the front or look for a radial to fit. In time are you planning to brace the frame as the better forks may push the frame further to its limits. On my cb900f with cbr600 f2 running gear i braced the head stock and around the seat and rear frame area.

Funny, your description of events moving out into your own place and then having shit fall apart and moving back is exactly what has happened to me this year! I ditched my car for the reason of obscene insurance costs and got my first propper bike. A honda cb300r. I had some help affording it, and the payments are nice and cheap, but then my dad went and fuckin died and now after having to deal with that and missing a couple weeks of work I've lost my job and have had to move back in with my mom. When it rains, it fuckin pours doesnt it? XD

I'm planning to take a few months and get my mental health in check, find a job that actually pays enough for me to survive without working me to the brink of exhaustion, then give finding a place to live another go. This time with some GOD DAMN GARAGE SPACE. I've inherited all the tools from an auto repair shop, and I'll be damned if those arent coming with me.
@EllaBananas
@EllaBananas 2 жыл бұрын
Oh btw, those amazon mirrors, I run one on my bike, and they are really good for the 18$ price, but they work best if you open up their hinge, sand down the surfaces to rub against eachother, and pack it full of grease before reassembly. The two o-rings keep it sealed and you'd be really impressed with how well they work. Mine have been through far more abuse than is normal, given they were on an ebike for a time that I crashed over a dozen times, and they still work. (that may sound like a lot of crashes, but fwiw, they were all from me doing dumb stunt shit.)

Lol, A dedicated space is definitely nice. I was street parking this bike when I moved out...only issues I really encountered was an attempted "walk away" theft in which the guy ended up dropping the bike and leaving it on the ground ._. as well as it being towed for a lack of inspection.

Long bolt might be for the baffle. I think you're supposed to cross-drill through the whole end of the pipe for that bolt. I don't like that solution tho. I would just use a small sheet metal screw instead.
@Theillestrator1050
@Theillestrator1050 2 жыл бұрын
Ahhhhhh, you may be right but im not next to the bike right now to check the diameter...I can understand the pipe not being drilled for those who run it baffle-less, but I feel like the baffle should at-least be drilled as a guide. I was considering just using red sillycone

Thanks. I hope to build a performance CB750 at some point. I was looking at all of the engine hop up parts available. I would likely go full Cafe on it as it would keep up with sportbikes. But if I did that, I would need a reliable indoor space,

@@Theillestrator1050 i got 2 stock frame ones and tbh chopping the frame is not a change I'm making as most cafe's do have as it drops about 4K off the value with the single cam K class ones, so if your going to a better option is the later F2 as there are way more of em and they make more so long you up the carbs, or put injection on em, the early K1 true 4 have larger carbs that you can put on the F2 that up it almost 10 hp as well as the longer rubber connectors the K series cb's have, tho my plan with one of em as of now is to rejet the carbs and make a custom carbon tank for it, I'll probably try to sell a few of em too at that point, if you want i can let you know then, as the frame looks to be identical to mine

also on the carbs issue i had that problem too there is a small switch above the float that can seize up when you run fuel with ethanol In it as ethanol containing fuel can gum up in em and they would need to be replaced, its easy and cheap tho it often men that the pin holding the float is also seized in it that can then be a problem

I don't know about the others but the ride at 49:00 I would think that if you tilt the camera a bit more up it would much much better, great video tho 👌
