I have a BM430 they use the same brake design. Its a pain to get off, and even a bigger pain to get on again. But the Volvo tractors were top quality machines and there are alot of them still going

Use a little coppergrease where the ironballs lays so will it not rust

Yes I was able to buy a new steering arm but they refuse to ship to Canada so I'm forced to use a service to purchase the parts and then have them shipped here. Parts are prohibitively expensive.

Greetings from South Africa Kowyn, thank you for your video! Most interesting.. I am also the proud owner of a BM650, and I have started fixing things on mine to keep her going strong. Would appreciate if you keep doing these vids - as I am planning to do the same while I am fixing things on mine. As you said - spares are not available (or hellishly expensive..) - so we repair. Best wishes - looking forward to more info-sharing

I do have some other work to do this spring including changing all the oils/fluids and looking into making a DIY external hydraulic three point hitch, I'll film it all.
