Colin Bond on his first day with Ford did very well. Shown here is the 1977 Hang Ten Challenge For Touring Cars raced on Sunday, February 20 at Sandown in Melbourne, with Bond driving the #9 XB Falcon to victory.

I was there...as a 15 Y/0 this was the most exciting thing one could ever see.....the drivers were allowed to have personalitys....blasting past the smaller class cars...too good ....is it any wonder I have absolutely no intrest in V8 Supercars!!??

chopperking1122 I cant seem to find the 1977 hang ten 400 . the winning debut of the A9X , the only thing this Holden fan had to be happy about in the Ford dominated year of 1977...

The Captain looked a bit possed of with the Capri driver, but in the Capri drivers defence, he stayed still and everyone else got arond him, Jansen had already rear ended the car infront of him and had locked brakes before he hit the Capri. The Capt stuffed up, and growled. lol..
