I got my grandpa’s 78 Ford, it’s all dark brown not two tone. It only has 72k original miles too. I’m currently restoring it to showroom stock.

Best trucks that Ford will ever make. Beautiful trucks ! I got a 76 high boy 360 bulldog 410 gears but it sure doesn’t look like this truck but it’s all original.

I loved the 78. One thing that looked good inside on the inside of the 78 was an optional sport steering wheel.

Is that a stroked 351m motor? I had a 78 and stoked it to 400 cu in. Great power and Decent mileage.

I wish they didn't go for so damn much. I was born in 76, my dad bought a new 78. He died when I was 6 and about the only memory I have of him was riding in his truck with him. I've wanted to get one like it my whole life but never seemed to have time/money to bother. Now they've gotten so valuable I can't afford to get one. The only time you can find one under 10K is when they're in such horrible condition you'd have to spend thousands just to make it drivable.

Really awesome looking truck. Not as great as the 73~76 version because those were the "highboy" trucks. The 400 engine wasn't a very good engine, the FE or 460 was much better. Ford doesn't do matching numbers, never seen much value in matching numbers. Who ever did the work should have popped in a 460 or 351W or C. Love the black and red combo, I went all black on my 73.
