Fabulous .. just remember to capture the wee ball bearings and springs on the choke bar as you slip it out .... easy to lose them.

Greetings from Fort Collins, Thanks for a brilliant video of these carbs being restored. I just picked up a 1979 XS750 Special and the carbs have leaking fuel tees and I needed to be coached up, and I learn best with visual aids and your video speaks volumes. That ending had a little 200 Motels vibe going on, Frank would have approved.

I had similar leaking fuel T. I bought brass ones like his on ebay.Pricey but they have replaceable O rings.

wonderful job, Im a film maker and 79 xs750 owner. Found it useful. I just removed my cabs clean. Im new as a mechanic so my skills are leans best, any pointers or areas I should stay away from? Im sure some wise ass will have an answer . But seriously, any tips will help

Dude!!! Awesome job, I was in need of this information since I'm having problems with mine's. Let me ask you, is that the model name for those carbs? I need to get the replacement and I need that info or were can I get them. Txs in advance and keep on with the good job

Sorry for the delay. The carbs are indeed Mikuni MKII. You won't find any new ones being made, but www.mikesxs.net is a good source for parts for this carb set.
