72° pushrod twin that sounds bigger than its 239 cc displacement. It is only being revved to 5000 rpm in the video; it sounds even better as it approaches its 9000 rpm redline. Noticeably smaller and lighter than the 350 models.

Beautiful bike. I have owned 5 Moto Morinis. 500 Sport, 500 Camel, 3 1/2 Sport and ..My favorite was the 250 Sport. I owned 2 of them. Both purchased from my friend Herm Baver, the USA Moto Morini Importer.

Ah, such sweet memories ... I owned one in tobacco brown and went everywhere on it. I was told very few of these were imported into the US.

This is simply beautiful.. Can I ask u some specs like weight, horsepower and fuel economy? I really cannot find anything online but I have a chance to buy one. Thanks

They are very light motorcycles, much lighter than my 350 Sport. Engine is very revvy, again even more so than my 350. Unlike the 350, it is easy to start. Info from Mick Walker’s book: Morini claimed 128kg dry weight; 26.8 bottles @ 9000 rpm. Fuel economy unknown to me but likely to be very efficient.

@@raleighmodel6562 The 350 is easy to start.. get bigger carbs and a bigger main jet.. Get rid of the airbox. Drill out the muffler baffles ( threaded rod and a hole saw on a drill... right down the muffler.. there are two baffles, keep going) I rode my 1981 350 Sport 1014 miles in 18 hrs 10 minutes on July 25, 1983. Kingston Washington to Pacific Grove , Calif. Nisa Fairings, Tarozzi rear sets, custom exhaust, double disc front brakes, wild cam.. fine bike. The 250 Sport was also a lot of fun.
