Johnson wrestling with an outdated boat as usual. Spent a fools gold on a leaf sprung under steering over steering waste of space. The commodore was a better road car and a far superior race car and the results are written into history. 308 lighter on breaks strut front end = by by ford.

I was there for the 81 round and it was a ripper of a race. Johnson spun out in the first round and Murray Carter and Bartlett in the Camaro had a furious battle.
