1983 Vandura conversion revival complete!

The revival of the Vandura 2500 has come to a close and will be listed once this video goes live. This van sat on Greg's property for over 10 years before we resurrected her a couple weeks ago. Still could use a couple things but overall this is a very nice vehicle to drive. She has a 350 with the 700r4 that shifts quite smooth. Mostly at this point it just needs cleaning but other than that it's a nice van

Now that’s what I’m talking about!! I would restore the heck out of that GM tank. TV’s etc I’d make that into a motor home

Well, if you really want that late 70s, early 80s vibe, you need a bumper sticker that says: "If this van's-a-rock'n, don't come a-knock'n." My favorite was the one I had on the rear bumper of my VW bus was, "Don't laugh, your daughter may be in back". I owned 4 van's in my days. 2 of them 83 and 84 Dodge customs, very similar to how the Vandura was set up. My VW bus was a 1968 second generation of the Volkswagen Type 2, I got it in 1978. I customized the inside myself, extending the engine box and adding 6 inches of foam to make a bed. Then I did the inside with purple shag carpet top, bottom AND sides! My mom called it the "Purple Passion Pit"! HEY!!!! It was the 70s after-all! :-)
