This episode is with Mr. Ryan McClure and his 1985 BEAMS powered Corolla. I've filmed Ryan for a few years at ClubFR drift days and thought it would be nice to put a bunch of his footage together.

@@josephsamsor1698 bmw's n45b20a is also great, but hard to find if youre not in europe its a homoligation special from the 2000 cc touring car group, they made 2600 320si with the engine. it puts out 176 hp and has great throttle response it sits very far behind the front axle in the 320si and makes for a great handling car

It is not only rwd though! While there are beams engines from jdm-only Altezza for RWDs.. note that also there is a transverse version that was used in fwd Celicas and rwd MR2s for Japanese market.

And "uk spec" is not an AE86. That's why they ain't worth shit. The AE86 is exclusive to Japan, it was never sold in Europe or the US officially.

At the beginning of this video I was like " what the fuck is up" and then half a second later I check and yes, i was right 60 fps, absolutely lovely to watch. Even though my tv has a poor 50hz panel, I invested 1000£ to get 100hz panel and yes it was worth it for pretty much everything but videos like this were in particular worth it.

A nice engine build for you 4A fans 1- get a 7A block and crank with a 42 mm big end bearing journal 2- get CA 18 Nissan conrods 4- use the 4A 16v big port head 5- use Golf turbo pistons 29 mm compression height , 82.5 bore max bore is 83 mm 6 F1 cams for E 86 7- 48 mm throttle body's 8- 117 t cam belt Renault or Porsche , if your setup is right you can run a 11.5 quarter

You machine the conrods where the big end is same thickness as the 4A and 0.010'' extra for a 8500 to 12000 rpm engine.

The 3S engine is not always available, and some 3S blocks is shit. On high power engines the block will brake on no3 sleeve. All so will depend in witch class you will be racing . Under 2.0 L or over 2.0L depending on where you live on this planet. LOL !

Jack Richter Does the sleeve breakage problem only valid for 3SGE from Altezza/ IS200 or 3SGE from Celica/ Caldina? From the stuff you listed, i can only think of premium money for the Euro parts (Porsche, Renault/ VW). I think its more cheaper to go F20C, 20B rotary or another toyota/ lexus 1UZ V8 for more power. Why not opt for 4AGZE and turbo it? Since its still 1.6L.
