@@MitchsScooterStuff I love restoration videos, but some creators get way too chatty, and spend most of the vid time with it. Your Vino 125 vids will be handy for me, as my wife's '04 Vino has been sitting for a decade and needs some TLC. Just gotta figure out how to unstick the gas cap.

Got the cap off a while back. It was caked with brown gunk. I cleaned that up and it's working fine now, but need to pull the tank, hose, carb, etc. for a good cleaning. Bike only has about 500 miles on it since new.

I was thinking exactly the same thing! We had a scoot at Rat & Survival Rally last year in the UK that had all the panels stripped down and was towing a trailer :P I'm looking at getting a similar Honda Helix, or maybe a larger Maxi scooter to turn into a rat recumbent streamliner, a la Craig Vetter. I've gotten past my need for speed, I now want the wallet to feel fatter and more mpg is the way to go, I reckon lol kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aLyErJuI1q7dYYk.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aLyErJuI1q7dYYk.html

Hey, here's a tip from a home mechanic who has worked on a lot of bikes - don't use a rag if you want to clean off grease, you don't get a lot of it off that way, pour some gasoline in a small tray and use a clean paint brush to dip in the gas and clean off the grease. The gasoline works wonders in washing and dissolving the grease off, and it even works on some bad, caked up, old dusty grease that you can't clean off otherwise. ;))

I love this type of restoration. No bullshit just straight restoration, plus no loud techno music.

Love the videos and the channel. Just bough a Honda Helix 1986 and I really like the rebuilt you just did. I'll be using this video and your seperate ones to fix mine since the carb isn't working properly. Keep being the amazing human you are. Thank you.
