KYBs are typically white or silver. I've had bilsteins on other vehicles and they were entirely yellow. But I'm not quite sure of that one being black on the body and yellow on the shield..

Yeah the kyb's I've seen have usually been white also. I don't know what this crap is but definitely taking it off and putting on some nice Bilstein HD's

I was wondering if you could help explain how to reach the heater fan in a 1976 mercedes 300D. (The fan deep into the dash. We have the car half apart but are struggling to remove the box surrounding the fan?

The blower motor is in the passenger foot well.. you remove it from under the dash on the passenger side.

@@woodsandbarclay thank you but unfortunately it isn’t that one. The issue is the fan by the firewall and cant seem to reach it

@@zendargd3981 there is no fan by the firewall. You might be referring to the heater core which is similar to a very small radiator. You have to remove the HVAC box to remove that.

@@woodsandbarclay ahh yes thank you that is what I meant. Im having issues removing the HVAC box as I have taken apart pretty everything surrounding it however the box will only budge. Do you know how to remove it easily?

@@zendargd3981 make sure you disconnect the hoses from inside the engine compartment that run through the firewall. Other than that there's really not much help I can provide you.

How are you approaching NLA stuff?

So far I've never had a problem with in NLA stuff it's always available from my New Old stock suppliers. What parts are you having trouble with? You can email me and I can help direct you to the right supplier.

@@woodsandbarclay well I shamingly ask from the standpoint of w124 lol I wonder if w123 is in a better place in terms of that? I worry about like lower control arms and Febi stuff and ILemfoerder which is gear are now Taiwan

@@nehuge we really don't do many w124's. It's very easy to get 123 parts. I wouldn't worry about it too much just change your lower control arms and drive the car.
