1985 XR80R WILL IT START this is a bike i got last year i did a 1st look hasn't ran for a long time

wow XR that brings back memories my first mx bike was a xr for racing then i moved up to a cr back in the day ;-)

Put oil down sparkplug see if the compression rises up or check the crank seals

Another thing you can do with a stripped kick starter or gear shift is sleeve it with a bit of coke can.

They were bad about the cam chain jumping a tooth and bending valves. Cam chain tensioner wears out prematurely.

U just dont use an intake and exhaust feeler gauge u gotta look up the proper measurements for exhaust and intake like.oo4 and .006
