The 80's..meet my wife, we got married..had two beautiful kids, and bought a house..had a mullet, drove a falcon on the weekends and a truck on week days..greats days indeed.

You're right. I hadn't really noticed that until you pointed it out - modern ads rarely do have jingles. I guess it's partially a budget constraint and maybe a trend too.

Can't believe how vintage 86 looks now. There was still a lot of early 80s feel to it. It's the year I started high school so it felt like a new era then. The late 80s changed rapidly.

Born in 1982. Not gonna lie, I’m here for the old car ads. My dad and I in the late 90’s used to work on cheap 80’s sports cars we bought from the “trading post” (anyone remember that paper)? Does anyone happen to have any videos of ads for the Mitsubishi Cordia? Or Mitsubishi Starion? Or Honda Prelude? They were all made in the 1980’s.

Does anyone remember the ad for Pioneer sound systems? I absolutely loved the theme song to it... "Put Pioneer in ya car & run ya car on music" I remember a couple in a convertible driving around & playing with the tape deck. I can't find a copy of it anywhere.

He's Julius Sumner Miller, from Massachusetts, USA. He's beloved in Canada, for his role as The Professor on the cult classic kids' show "Hilarious House of Frightenstein". Made in 1971, it aired continuously ever since, and has now spawned an award-winning show for pre-schoolers, "Happy House of Frightenstein".

He had a TV show called, ‘Why is it so?’ Shows such as, ‘Curiosity Show’ followed the tradition. His chair at Sydney University is now occupied by Dr Karl Kruzselnicki’ who is the Sumner Miller fellow title holder. Essentially the job is to promote the sciences in mainstream and pop culture.
