It’s a shame Marv Albert didn’t do play by play for BIG BASEBALL SERIES! LCS & WORLD SERIES!! Can you imagine some of the famous calls he would have done?? His Football & Basketball & Hockey are unmatched!

The Cards didn’t steal anything and nothing shocking at all. Both years the Cards won the division by 3 games. Over 162 game season nothing is stolen. The Cards really should have won it in ‘85. That blown call in game 6 was the difference. And the Twins were a huge fluke in ‘87. If anything that’s what was shocking. All sour grapes on your part.

@@thefrase7884 The mets were overwheliming favorites to win the pennant in 85 and 85 thats why the cards stole it from them. it wasnt the cards themselves it was whitey herzog who stole it from Davey johnson because Herzog was a better manager

@@robertosso5210 well, my friend, I was only 8 years old in 1987. During that awesome year of baseball, I do know that the Cardinals were pretty dam good too. There was no weakness on that team. The Mets did fall apart at the end of the year.

I always felt Bin Scully got paid by the word!! Probably my LEAST FAVORITE BASEBALL PPAY BY PLAY GUY!! I’d take Joe Garagiola or Tony Kubek over Scully!
