In Game Four of the 1987 World Series, the Cardinals roughed up Frank Viola in his second start of the series, as the lefty surrendered five runs in 3-1/3 innings. The game is perhaps best remembered for Tom Lawless' three-run HR in the fourth inning (and subsequent bat flip) -- one of just two home runs in Lawless' major league career -- but also features the series' lone appearance of 43-year old Joe Niekro in relief of Viola.
