I remember being SO PISSED in 1988 when they started this body style!!!!🤣🤣 but it grew on me!!! I have had 5 of them since 1990!!🤣🤣🤣

In 88 you could’ve got a classic (square body) till the middle of the year my uncle had one we thought he was crazy when he said it was a 88 but he wasn’t Lieing checked the door it was 2/88 I always wondered if that truck would’ve been worth something if he didn’t drive it into the ground

Yeah.. I didn't think it looked like a real truck.. but by comparison of today's trucks, it starts to look more like a classic than a modern era. Another reason why I don't mind them, is because they were reliable and easy to work on for a computer truck. But, I don't like multi port injection or anything past obd1

Those generation Chevy & GMC C/K series pickups replaced the previous square body ones "only the regular cabs" in that year. Not to forget 1988 was also the first year for the optional extended cabs too. Fast forward to 1992 the crew cab pickups & SUVs were also redesigned to that body style.

For me, I wish you could just buy a basic pick up. I don't need blue tooth, leather, or any touch screen stuff. Just a basic single cab truck without a bunch of power stuff to go haywire.
