Yes true, these jockeys were better than the bunch we have riding now, the 80’s produced the best crop of Jamaican jockeys

Ride horse Everton "Scarry" Miller... Finished second to Liu Chie Pooh in the Derby that year, too. Trevor Simpson rode Lady Vasanti for "Billy" Williams, Fanna aboard Madam Pam for Frank Parham and Jamie's Express finishing fourth with "Chinna" Bartley for Kenneth Mattis who also trained the winner.

Where's is Jamaica racing going now, this claiming system is like the coronavirus it's reck up the good caymanas park, even the derby program was so poor in standard, and on Saturday coming take a look at the A1 horses 🐎 in the raggae trophy it's a disgrace
