1989 Blue Bird International School Bus S1800 Walk Around

So I was at camp and had an hour break, so I decided I was going to take some stuff up to my truck. (It's pretty much all uphill) So as I'm approaching the parking lot, I see the bus out of the corner of my eye. I throw the stuff in my truck, and I'm walking over and see that the numbers look like our districts from that era. Upon closer inspection (mainly the other numbers give it away), it turns out it was from our district, and this is the resulting video. I had to run back down to the site cause I spent to much time up there and got back with literally 5 seconds to spare lol

My camp has (or had, I'll check next week lol) a retired 93 Bluebird Intl on the property, in not nearly as good shape as this. Check my flickr for that

It was purchased fairly recently at the time of this recording. Last I was there was a few years ago and as far as I know it's still there in regular use transporting people around the campground.

Did some district require some old s1800 or 1700 have stop signs?

Yep! This specific district (I think the whole state, actually) didn't require stop signs until the early 90s.

jonathan S It had a new buy license plate on it, so they just got it. I'm going back there next weekend, not sure what they use it for but it looks like it still works.

Nope. I don't remember what year they started making it necessary, but I remember my 6th grade bus (90/91 BB 3800) didn't have one either.
