Most OBS has a new style... have what they call Chevy lean. There's two ways to fix this issue. 1 find a local spring shop and have your Springs re arched. Or use a 2-inch lower shackle on one side and a 3 on the other keep in mind use shock extenders and drop shocks and this will stop you're bottoming out. By the way nice Cadillac tail lights in the bed from what I could see you use the 91 through 94 nice job myself I use the newer style on my 06 crew super sick have a great day buddy😎😎👍

A "super" c notch from western chasis will give you more space!

Air shocks or air bags, air shocks are a lot cheaper and would work with your setup

If you get an underbed notch you can probably go to like a 10 and clear

Needs Rear shock relocation brackets from atomic fab and performance & use correct drop shocks 👌🏼

Buddy of mine has that set up on his nbs. I was actually considering a 4 link set up. I've also been thinking about selling the truck so we shall see

Yo man question so my truck has 1 to 2” shackles and I’m planning on to lowered 6” in the back so if I put my shackle on the 1 “ hole is gonna give me 7” right but if I put it on the second hole 2” is gonna give me 8”???

It depends on the kit you're using if I remember correctly But what I've seen is the 6" kit includes the 2inch lowering shackles. If you wanted to go lower you'd have to modify the front leaf spring mount

I would focus on your leafspring. Your building a truck for performance. If there stock there designed for a totally different purpose. Add stiffness

What I've done is take apart the leafsprings and added helpers and leafs to get the exact ride I want. You'll probably need to do it twice and its alittle more work but it's worth it. I wouldn't do an extreme C-notch, that's another can of worms.

@Sean B I see what you're saying. Similar to the 2500 or 3500 series trucks... I've been thinking about doing some helper bags but I live in the north east and they probably wouldn't last very long

That's the typical chevy lean... Basically what you'll need to do is lift the rear a bit with the original shackles or ad a leafspring or do a step notch on the frame to get a lot more room

You can buy a Reklez under bed notch bro, if you don't want to cut the bed in any way.👍🏽

I'd say it's closer to 5/6 or 5/5 drop. The shackles actually made a big difference.

DONT DO WESTERN CHASSIS SUPER C. Take that bolted bitch out, order or fabricate a custom weld in notch and cut the bands all the way out like you did for the diff. And have your travel basically up to right under the bed of the truck. Look up Reklez *or something like that* weld in under bed C notch. Thank me later it will ride like butter. And take the shackles out you dont need that shit. It'll ride like stock

It’s not your bum stop that’s bottoming out I honestly think it’s your exhaust pipes that’s touching the bed when you go over bumps that’s what you hear

It stopped bottom it out after I swapped the shackles. It did raise the rear a bit more than I wanted. You can see in the latest video. The rear is sitting higher

Yes but i put the stock shackles back on. I was gonna do a bigger notch but ended up selling the truck

@@artysmotorsports man that was a sweet truck!!! I went 5/7 drop too and I'm wanting to raise the rear end cause it sags in rear and want to raise it like 2 inches. So you think I should put the stock shackles back on to raise it? Thanks!

@Hello yeah try the stock shackles first. Cheapest and easiest way to raise it. If that doesn't work I'd just do a step notch. Not too expensive and it'll be done right
