I agree they lost their way. Peak Studio was 92-94. 93 Studio was AMAZING for the time. I'm more sympathetic than you are for their 8x10 design choice, they needed something to stand out and this was a good try to do that. Can you image if they did a Topps Laser style die cut or a HUGE patch on an 8x10? It wasn't played out by the time they went bankrupt. The die cuts for the Freeze Frames are AWESOME, The film notches are also die cut out of the card, very affordable parallel insert set

I think 97 Studio had cooler inserts with the Hard Hats but the AP's are shorter printed in 98

@@cardsandcomics oh yeah, LOVE the Hard Hats! 98 Proofs also look way better than the 97s, more foil on the border really makes them pop. In case you didn't already figure it out, only the 98 Golds are actually serial numbered, the Silver you pulled is only a stated print run.
