Great look at the line! Never knew about these and can definitely see the appeal to them. That Spanish you pointed out when talking about the Argentinian Barts is Castellano- the type of Spanish that is spoken in Spain but also in other countries (mostly South America). I tend to consider it as a more formal type of Spanish than what most people are accustomed to knowing. If you ever hear it being spoken, you could immediately differentiate it from "Mexican" Spanish.

Man, this was an awesome video, I loved the Simpsons from the time they came out as a kid, but for some weird reason, I don't remember having any of the figures from this line, Now you have me wanting to collect this whole set. this takes me back . I had the couch (no boobtube as a picked it up in a jumblesale or yardsale as ye call them) had homer and my buddy had nelson . never had anyone else from the line as they disappeared from shelves quick. I did end up with a scuffed up Bartman many moons later tho. and they do seem better then the playmates one. I do wonder if that wave 2 stuff mighta got released overseas . I know the Tyco racing Crash dummy line was pretty much only available in Europe maybe the same thing happened to simpsons wave 2 ?

This figure line is relatively unknown but i owned Bart, Bartman and the BoobTube set as a kid. However the bonus is the figures are cheap to buy, generally below £10 a figure or below £40 for carded. The only problem is i tend to find they are often sold as a complete set (All figures) rather than individual and if you see them individual they are missing parts. Some eBays are also overpricing them thinking the line is as popular as MOTU, Thundercats, StarWars, Turtles etc so the figures never sell.

I have a mattel bartman for some reason. Missing all the accessories including the cape though.

I purchased a replacement bart a while ago, and he has a softer head than the other ones in my figure. Did some of them have 'softer' heads and some 'harder' soft heads?
