1993 was a special year for Antwerp.

So cool. I love cities in the 90s and early 2000s. They seem more raw and real. Not anymore overly dirty and unsafe, not yet fully cleaned up and modernized. Just true human activity in a mix of buildings from multiple centuries.

I visited Antwerp many times in the 90's. One very memorable occasion was when I was visiting Antwerp with my high school class from the netherlands. I wore block heels and walked so much that day that I wore through the natural shock absorbing pads of my feet. It was like walking on nails at the end. Not my smartest wardrobe choice.

I have been there. It is nice.

Zalige beelden, toen Antwerpen nog een aangename, gezellige, propere en mooie stad was om te vertoeven. Wat een verschil met het hedendaagse Antwerpen, het gaat hier enorm achteruit, alles is om zeep, om te wenen 😭 met dank aan onze politiekers 😒
