Watched this race in an East London betting shop, and couldn't believe my eyes at that initial burst of acceleration that took Generous several lengths clear in a matter of seconds. A great moment in horseracing!

I worked with Generous when he went to stud at Scarvagh House. One of the most kind natured, affectionate stallions I've ever seen. It was an honour and a privilege to have been loved by him. Carrots helped too 😂😂

Such a fabulous and beautiful horse what a waste not being fertile enough to become an influence as a stallion. If they'd had some forsight and trained him on he'd have made a great NH hurdler even. What a waste if such a beautiful horse...

He was a very good racehorse.
