I'm sure this sounds crazy to people especially whoever read this ghat doesnt know me but the similarities and how much i can relate to him, not at all physically or what hes accomplished, but what he went through, his personality, the love he had for the people around him. All the good he did for people and even people he looked up to that ended up taking advantage of him.. from him losing the closest people to him one after another, all these things i can relate to. @AveSicarius3 жыл бұрын
@@ritchski1 It wasn't boxing so much as the death of Cus D'Amato and how Don King and Co corrupted Mike. He went from being a well spoken disciplined fighter who kept out of trouble, to being a monstrous man capable of terrible things to man and woman alike. The best thing about Mike Tyson is his vulnerability. He's always been so open and truthful about his life, his strengths and his weaknesses. To be a man that no one could call un-macho, but who's willing to admit what most "macho" men won't about himself, makes him courageous on a whole other level. I know that he's maybe the greatest boxer to date, but it's his inner strength that fascinates me!

I read his autobiography, a guy got rear ended by a car which caused him to rear end the car mike's wife was driving and where mike was passenger. The guy came out and started yelling at mike's wife then went and yelled at the guy who rear ended him, mike just got out of the car and beat them both up, kicking one of them in balls and punching the other. He ended up getting charges pressed against him, settled out of court with the guys he beat up, payed them a decent amount, but ended up still getting sentenced to like 2 years or something, Mike did about 4 months in prison before JFK jr, who Mike was personal friends with, bailed him out by calling his cousin who was governor at the time. It's probably crazy I remember watching this interview back in the day! I was watching another interview with him not to long ago... Mike said he was scared shitless every time was getting in the ring. Kinda hard to believe after growing up watching all of his fights! GL Mike fighting Roy Jones Jr in the coming weeks, I'm so looking forward to seeing you back at work!!!

Hi. Thank you so much for sharing these classic clips. I’m looking for two particular episodes of Arsenio from 1990 and was wondering if you had either episode in your possession to share (4/30 and 6/6).

You do know that Mike himself said that he wrote about what sells and that it's in no way a reflection of him as a person? So whatever you read is just Tyson fiction. For that I'm sure it's great.

I wish Cus was younger when Mike was adopted. Mike's career would've been so much better had Cus been alive and there every step of the way.
