Simple case of "If you can't beat em, ban em", then turn it into a 2 manufacturer championship. The golden age of multiple car makes (from way back at Bathurst's inception) with all the excitement they brought, ended at that point. 😥 These were the days I remember as a kid....late 70's, 80's and early 90's spending the whole day in front of the TV with Dad. Now it's just boring as shit.

Bathurst at its peak. I truly believe they should have a 'production/leader' class to Bathurst. Engine size 6cyl only. It can be turbo, supercharged or NA, but has to be a factory 6 cyl engine. That way you could include v6/straight 6. Perhaps it may bring back some interest in Bathurst.......?

Bluebird was great, but Nissan upgraded the suspension significantly, which made the car better to handle, 4 tyres on the road is better than 3 😃
