6 жыл бұрынThis week's vehicle spotlight is a 1992 Mazda RX-7 on 18" ESR SR07 wheels and Tein Street Advance Z Coilovers. The wheel sizes are 18x8.5 with an offset of +30 in the front and 18x9.5 with an offset of +35 in the rear. The tires are Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2, sizes 255/35r18 in the front and 285/35r18 in the rear.

That’s a very clean 92. But making stock power and riding on monster wheels and tires.... The front lip is a factory R1 lip for that year. However the owner missed out on the brake cooling ducts. Hard to find unmolested FD’s nowadays...

I have a 1993 RX-7 with some crappy e-bay coil overs on it currently... Ohlins will be on it this spring! I can attest to a lot of the comments down below as I had Tein coil overs on my 07 STI, they suck! (No, the eBay coil overs were on the RX-7 when I bought it...)

@@svrsxlt till you hit a pothole and crack a barrel or possibly lose your life because you decided to cheap out on what keeps your car on the road. You get what you paid for, So don't expect the best from something cheap. You most likely are going to end up re-buying or upgrading anyway. Therefore, making them more expensive in the end. Not a logical choice.

A bit of misinformation. This is a 93. There were no lhd rx7s in 1992. That is not a JDM lip. It is a R1/R2 lip, which was sold in the US.

Needs to get his spring rate/ damping / rebound looked at, that is not good, fine on a cruising car for looks but dangerous for normal driving in a car like that, wouldn’t want to be piloting that round a bumpy corner
