Still gives me the shivers watching this...Man those were the days. Lets have some better days GW...

I do believe to this day that the 1992 Blue Jays are the last MLB team to go through an entire season without being swept in any series. The 1998 Padres did it in the regular season but got swept in the World Series. I don't think it's been done since.

I Love this team. My first child is called Jay. Watching this in 2022, knowing what an awesome season this was, I am still clapping, cheering, and yes even crying. Thanks for the memories guys.

The 1992 Toronto Blue Jays are the only major league team to take the World Series Championship to Canada; they did also did it 1993, making them the first team to repeat as World Champions since the 1977-78 Yankees. Cito Gaston is the first minority manager to take a major league team to the fall classic.

I was 13 when the Jays won the World Series the first time, it was worth staying up past 1am on the night of Game 6 to witness history. We had this tape in our video library and I watched it often

I was at the SkyDome with some friends and their Dad. When the Jays won, everyone ran onto the field. Huge moment for the Jays and the fans. I was 13

It’s so WEIRD to see Skydome standing alone with the CN Tower and nothing but sky! It’s surrounded by tall condo buildings now. And I don’t care if it’s known as the Rogers Center.. it’ll always be Skydome to us!

Complete game to start. man wish we had Morris this year. But I think 1 or 2 old and new pitchers will shock and surprise for the better this year. Go Jays!!!

It's fascinating how different this team was from 1993. The '92 team was still laced with regulars from the Exhibition Stadium era (Henke, Key, Gruber).
@toptenguy19 ай бұрын
Very good point. They all had huge moments in the World Series, too. (Despite Henke not closing off game 6)
@brycemcneil44048 ай бұрын
Yup: there were four players who were on 1985/1989/1991/1992 postseason rosters: Key, Henke, Lee and Mulliniks (even though Mulliniks never actually got on the field in 92).

In an alternate dimension. I like to think the Jays Three Peat. Followed by the Indians Threepeat 1995-97. Then the Yankees 98-00. Then the Braves finally break through in 2001 behind the recently acquired hired gun Randy Johnson. This dimension not having the Arizona Diamondbacks organization in it. Just me spitballing. Stupid strike.

Braves thinking was jays have a very strong infield and the likely hood of him getting first base with a infield grounder wasn't going to happen. Out fielders where playing in his speed best option but I agree think it was stupid idea I agree was stupid to bunt
