hey, have a 91 nx2000 2L. The rad fan is not working, dc motor runs when I jump it directly from the battery. There are three fuse boxes in the engine compartment, two have rad fan labels (rad fan 1, rad fan 2)but are empty in that slot, the one beside the battery has a label rad fan 3 and it has what looks like a relay, not a fuse. Is there an actual fuse, where would that fuse box be?

I haven’t had time to get to the shop to look around the car but that relay sounds familiar. Did you try swapping it out to test as they can fail as well? Are you jumping the connector in the rad fan? I’d start with that relay…can’t remover if there is an actual fuse inside the vehicle or not.

Why were these and the Mx-3 never as popular as the Integra? Did they just sell waaaaay less? I knew a gal who had one of these, then it got stolen, then she had an Mx-3, and it was stolen, then she got a yellow Tiburon and it was actually pretty reliable for years... and nobody stole it. (I think because it was yellow haha)

I believe it's a combo of Honda reliability (not that Nissan at this time was bad) and maybe how the car looks. The NX is a little polarizing, while the Integra is generally well received. Those early Tiburons were kinda rad too.
