Will always have a vivid memory if Speilman stopping Emmit on the goalline and his double axe spike touchdown celebration. Go Lions !

If only Peter King knew the passing completion percentage would skyrocket over the years. Now 68% is the norm

Went out of their way to make no mention of Dave Krieg the entire video

NFL Yearbooks are always a combination of reviewing the previous year and hype for the following year. If you watch the Peter King and Michael Silver introduction, they mention that Krieg had already moved on to another team, so NFL Films wasn't going to talk about a player that wouldn't be there next year unless it was a franchise player retirement.

Is this the year GB put 9 players to stop Barry and Fontes was to stupid to throw to Moore and Morton?

Yeah, the Lions' stars deserve spotlight for sure, BUT I cannot believe there's no mention AT ALL of Dave Kreig's crucial role in '94's success, after Mitchell went down~are you kidding me??!! Poised, veteran winner Dave had every bit as much to do with Lions' getting to 9~7 and back into the playoffs, & almostttt beating the Packers @ Lambeau, as anyone else~besides Barry Sanders!

Did you hear how they talked about Scott Mitchell? Now how stupid would the video sound if they turned right round and said when Dave Kreig came in, the Lions were actually a better team! 😂😂😂 It just doesn’t match the narrative.

@@SuperfanDK Makes "0" sense, like I watch a team yearbook to listen to & focus on blowhards like King & Silver~kinda dysfunctional, like our current iteration of the NFL's "modern game", but I digress....The reality IS that Kreig was huge in getting the Lions back into the playoffs in '94💯🎯; as great as Sanders was, he wasn't going to get it done alone.

Dave Krieg was the last ingredient Detroit needed for a '95 Superbowl win! 3 top wide receivers, Barry Sanders all led by Krieg was an unstoppable power combined with all the other talent spells: Detroit Lions Win Superbowl! How did their GM miss this?!?
