I luckily found a valve cover for the drivers side on my 93 Ranger. Took me 4 months to find one. Got it on ebay. I Had to sand, prime and paint it. Works good now no leakys.

What's that crimping wire that comes from the starter? The instructions say to heat it and then crimp it. We're does it go.??

Am I the only on that sees the starter is just a small problem 🤔 but that massive oil leak might need to be addressed.

Thanks for the video man it’s extremely helpful. I have a 96 Mazda b4000 with the 4.0 so it’s pretty much the same truck. Recently it’s been acting like it’s having trouble cranking, like it just will turn over. And then sometimes it’ll crank up no problem an sometimes it won’t crank at all An acts like the battery’s dead. Then if you wait a little while it’ll start up just fine no problem. But now it won’t even turn over it’ll just click, even when trying to jump it, it won’t make a difference. So do you think the started is definitely shot? Idk what else it could be I tried jumping the little relay think on the side of the truck under the hood near the battery an that won’t help either. Idk what else to do or what the problem is

I have a 94 Ford ranger 2 wheel drive 6cyl 4.0 , well the starter to a shit and so I went and got another starter put it in and wired up everything! Well when I go to start it up it fires up but the starter keeps running! What is the reason it does that. I hooked all wires that came off back on the way I undid them to replace starter! When motor starts the starter keeps running . Please if anyone knows how to fix this I really appreciate it!
