I have a 94, in Illinois by O'Hare. Was a CA truck. No rust and great body etc...currently have the engine out 180k and going to bring to machine shop . I want to have it right. Can't wait for spring.. I like that look you have with the tires.

I put 31.5 inch BF Goodrich A/T’s , they look and ride fantastic on my ‘96 F150 4x4 Centurion crew cab .

I am the original owner of a 1995 F150 XLT ( window sticker says it is a lariat ). one year color in saphire blue (purple) original paint. has 5.0 auto with handling package (rear sway bar and aluminum wheels ) Truck in this video is awesome condition and very attractive color combo. Gotta make a video on mine this year. I wonder what this truck sold for ?

Also put on a new set of tires BFG K02 to give it an aggressive look, still has original SS exhaust and tail pipe still buffs up and shines.

Gen 9 is my next era for a truck. I have an '03 F-150 (5.4) and it is a great truck, but the body is toast. I have visions of '96 F-150 w/ 5.8 such as this. Maybe if things go propoerly I can drop a 5.4 in this body style. **Not the 3-Valve 5.4** The Gen-10 5.4 2-valve is very good. Yes, I'm going after one as I head into my middle-age years.

why not just leave the windsor small block in? they can make just as much power and they are more reliable!

@@mromatic17 Because life is so short, and I'd like to hear a healthy 5.4 in a Gen-9 body. I don't need a LOT MORE power (maybe 330 would be fine). I think it's the sound of them with proper exhaust. I personally like *Borla.

@@gen-x-zeke8446 thats fine bro its your truck to do what you wish. I was looking at it more in terms of a reliability aspect the 5.4 2 valve isn't bad at all but the windsors have just had a lot more longevity

@@mromatic17 I listened to a vid of a 5.8 (stripped; no cats, muffler, just straight back). A bit loud, but I would ad a couple a great mufflers that pur until they growl. You have helped me come to my senses here, so thanks.

I made my 5.0 5 speed 4x4 f-150 sound just like a foxbody mustang with straight pipes and flowmaster 40's and I love it! windsors are great engines! infact shelby racing still uses them to this day! they wouldn't use them for 50 years if they weren't great engines!

@@danielpadgett2831 Sold for about $23000 SRP in 95 (likely more with all the options). Adjusted for inflation that's about $42k, so it's sold for about half price of new. Eddie Bauer was the highest trim at the time, so you could compare it to Lariat or King Ranch. A 2018 Lariat SuperCab 4x4 sold for $45k new and now goes for $39k w/ 100k miles. So, honestly, $21k for a top of the line F150 w/ 100k miles and up-to-date maintenance isn't bad. Plus, there's the cool factor of it being a classic, while being easy to work on and get parts for.

Lost interest at leveling kit! Garbage for people that never put a load in the bed. I use my truck and when the front end sits higher than the rear with a load it makes for really poor handling and braking performance! Nice truck otherwise.

I have a 111k mile 1994 f-150 4X4 RCSB 5.0 5 speed and my stock tires are 31/10.5R15 or 265/75r15 i think most came with the 29" 235/75r15 tires though. Mine had 235's on them when I bought it and I looked at the door sticker and it said if came with 265's so I bought a new set of those cuz I wanted to have the same size as the spare just in case I need to use it in the future. Plus bigger tires are better looking and 31's are perfect size in my pinion for a truck. they aren't way too big and they are big enough to go off roading in most areas. yeah you aren't gonna go rock crawling but who would want to do that in their daily driver anyway?
