The coach had Kobe playing center. Just wow. What a horrible coach he must’ve been. I don’t care how tall he was, he needed the ball in his hands most of the time.

Totally agree with your assessment, but They didn’t do that in the 90s and early 2000s. If you were the tallest on the team, by default you played center. Rebounds and rim protecting blocks.

I actually thought the scheme was pretty good. Kobe was more of an interior passer than a center. The half court offense ran through him when he was at the top of the key.
