Higuita was a special goalkeeper indeed. But what he did in 1995 was quite crazy. I remember Colombia played against Norway, and Thomas Gill the norwegian goalkeeper tried to do the same trick as Higuta. He couldn't do that quite as well.

If Brazil wasn't as good they would probably call them thugs aswel and talk about court caes. You never hear about that stuff during a match by commentators talking about badly behaved or criminal actions of english players or european etc.

I actually did that scorpion kick while playing pick up football to prevent a goal one time. It was two of us in the small hockey sized goal and the fella put his shot right between us. Perfect placement. It was basically in the goal when I did it and it was the only way I could stop it.
