I adore the J70! My former boss in the workplace bought an imported second-hand J70 from Japan & have it converted to left-hand drive so that it can be used legally on Philippine roads. I was able to drive it & it was a pleasurable vehicle to drive! J70 is probably the most handsome LC Prado, if not, the most handsome!

The Prado is a less capable off roader than the regular land cruiser but more suitable for on road driving.

thebigwarthog Disagree. The main difference was on their suspension. Instead of leaf, prado has springs. But that was on pre 2000 models. Now the Prado has a different chassis, and Toyota keep this 5 doot long body for TLC 70 with 4.5 single turbo V8 and 4.2 Turbo 6 inline diesels, and 4.0 V6 gas.
