It's a great pleasure to see the master skill and winning spirit of beautiful player, Steffi Graph. It is very hard to believe wherefrom she gets the strength, the divine strength. I used to watch her semi or final matches particularly grandslam ones with great zeal and vigour.

The amazing 1990's in tennis. I think it was the best decade. It was the center era between the old school and lady-like tennis, and the hard-hitting fast serving types that came afterwards. Had Steffi, Monica, JenCapri, Arantxa, Hingis and a few others been born so as to peak today and currently, I believe they would have been the greatest tennis female players of all time, since in addition to their already talent, they would have also been coached and instructed to hit harder and faster. They would have been severe threats to todays players. Steffi I would say would be tops.

I don’t think that it was possible to hit harder and faster with the racket technology from 30 years ago. I myself hit harder today than back in those days as a 20-year-old. And no, I’m not stronger today… 😂

Wow Steffi is amazing. Wins a tough first serve, gets killed in the second set and still finds a way to win.

Jose Cardenas had Seles had her physical resistance of 1993 with her new serve, Seles won in straight sets

DELUSIONAL, even in the pre-stabbing era between 1991 and 1993 Graf was the only one of the two to win any of their match ups in straight sets, she actually beat Seles twice in straight sets. Seles did not win one straight set match against Graf during this time period.

Jose Ignacio Vargas take note that in ‘91 Graf beat Seles twice in a row - Hamburg and San Antonio, this was at the time when Seles became number one and considered dominant. These wins only proved that Graf can beat a number one Seles. Seles was just winning better at bigger tournaments but she wasn’t really dominating Graf. Before and after the minor stabbing, Graf had a leading head to head record against Seles. Overall, the great Graf leads 10-5. 😀

The matches between Steffi and Monica were fews, but were the most beautiful and the most intense ever. I think that with them the female tennis reached the highest level in absolute. None final were exciting like this and like that of Roland Garros '92. Graf and Seles the greatest champions in history.

Navratilova/Graf was even better. 1989 being the pinnacle of that rivalry.

@@carrerau7138 I agree. The games Graf-Navratilova were technically sublime and superior, but the intensity of this final and of that Roland Garros 92 are second to none.
