We try and help turn the slowest International rollback on earth into a slightly less slow truck with a DP Tuner chip from www.dp-tuner.com
Will we gain the 100 horsepower claimed? Will it be a neck snapper? Should we consider taking it to Drag Week this summer? Or will it be a waste of money in the end? All will be revealed in this thrilling installment and the Dragy will tell the tale of the 0-60 and 1/4 miles times.
After all the crying and bloody knuckles it turns out to be a good investment, it cut the 0-60 time nearly in half and makes the truck livable day to day. It holds speed on hills loaded now and is much less stressful overall. Jody at DP Tuners was great to deal with, the shipping was fast and the chip came with great directions. You can't ask for much more than that.

The row of lights fell out of mine too, it's a manufacturer defect. The glue they used wears off after about 5 years and a slight bump will make them fall. Just apply some super glue along the inside black edges when you reinstall and it'll never come off again.

i know video was posted 11 months ago but if you see this truck absolutely has a boost leak that's the loud hissing sound you here from inside cab that why its such a slug

Great job! That seemed like quite a pain to get out. Glad you got it sorted. It often takes a few tries in between thinking and re searching. I'm on the East coast, that is some very flat territory you are in.

I have the official ford tool for cleaning those terminals from way back when I calibrated there. Still, seems you did a good jerb!

Sometimes the chip you put on doesn’t make a good contact. If it work, you will notice it immediately dry clean it again

Hello I have the same year,make and model truck as your tow truck. How and where did you buy your chip? No one will sell me one without a vin# to a Ford they won’t use the international vin#

I did, I gave them the # off the ECU for them to determine which chip it needed.

Take off your intercooler, make sure it’s not clogged up, they clog up and choke the boost away pretty easy, at 130k mine was totally clogged..

No idea yet, I've only filled out of my bulk barrel so far and don't have any way to measure gallons. It seems to be doing OK, best guess is in that 10-12mpg range.

Something is wrong with your truck. I’m in Minnesota and my 7.3l 95 international 4700 is a ton faster than yours, and mine is stock.

I had same issue truck was a slug new injectors made a world of difference.. swapped almost every sensor before deciding to get new injectors… but I just ordered a ts performance chip and it didn’t work… ready to give up
