1996 PGA Champion Mark Brooks Replays Winning Hole at Valhalla

2 ай бұрынMark Brooks captured his first and only major championship at the 1996 PGA Championship held at Valhalla Golf Club, thanks in large part to making two clutch birdies on the par-5 18th hole. Brooks made birdie in regulation to force a playoff, and then made birdie again in the playoff to win the 1996 PGA Championship at Valhalla.

Hooray for Mark Brooks! What a final round, and playoff, to win the '96 PGA Championship. I watched the TV coverage but it was still a thrilling finish and great memory.

Classic coincidence...just watched Martin Ayres....moaning about the tour player that didn't pay him for a lesson....Mark Brooks..... Then bam...Mark Brooks appears.... I guess there's two sides to every story

Remember that Mark was the last golfer to win a major before Tiger Woods dominated the majors for the next 12 years.
