No, the sound is louder and deeper than factory baffles. I hear the biggest difference during throttle release like when shifting. The baffles do a great job controlling back pressure.

Thanks for posting your comparison. I called Vance & Hines today and they said the Big Radius 2 into 2 is their loudest pipe they sell. I would never have purchased them had I realized how loud they are. I have been riding with them for two weeks and cringe at every acceleration. So I will be ordering replacement baffles as soon as I finish this post. Vance & Hines should consider rating their pipes not dissimilar to how one can order coffee, Dark, Medium or light roast. Love the pipes, but for me, it has been a fail on the sound.

Make sure you follow the pictures and watch for the tightening band it will be in the way, I had to grind the head of the baffle bolt down a little to make it fit. 6 inches is really the sweet spot, I moved them around to try different depths.

Nice bike, bro, nothing beats the sound of that single cam, EVO, engine.......wish Harley had never quit making that engine....the Twin Cams have nothing over the EVO....

the bct baffles made a big improvement in sound....I just ordered them for my fatboy with the same pipes....sweet...

Yea I like em for sure ... I have the v&h staggered longshots and no baffles and its a little to much .. I think those big cities would be just right .. thanx for the video ..take it easy

These were Vance and Hines big radius pipes, was 11 years ago so I don’t still have bike. You can call BCT and they can help with the order.

Eh brother i hope get this. I had these baffles inistall and now my bike is not running right. Keeps back firing. What jet size did you use?

Try 185 main, 48 pilot. If you are still unsure do a plug chop. Make sure the air filter is clean, warm up the motor, shut it off and install new spark plugs. Start the motor and pin the throttle, running through all gears. Plugs never lie, they will tell you what she needs.

you said the sound is significantly lower in the lower.. and in the pervious comment u said theyre louder :s im confused since i need to lower the sound on my pips thanks

He meant the growl is lower, not the actual decimal level
