Very true sir! We're working on the rubbing on the front currently and I think we're good for a while. If you know of any place to get parts we are humbled for suggestions :-)

those were Bridgestone Dueler Revo A/Ts (265/75R16) on U.S. Wheel 94 Series rims. now I have Treadwright Guard Dog M/Ts in the same size

That's good for you. The like styling of that year. if gives the car a timeless look. Almost 12 years old and if you maintain it inside and out, it will look virtually the same as the day It left the showroom! Sucks this car is no longer in production.
@LooseNut13 жыл бұрын
@opastrel at the time the only mods were a 3" suspension lift and the wheels and tires (265/75R16)

Very cool, man...I like the 1998-2002 body styles because they are more refined and fit my lifestyle as I don't drive off-road. While those are still capable off road, they, along with their Isuzu Rodeo counterparts are part of a massive recall for severe rust and corrosion underneath the frames. Some people are lucky not to have it, but I'm not chancing that shit! LOL I'll get a 1997 Passport, or a 2003-2004 Rodeo, those frames are different and not part of the recal Any other vehicles you

I wish you were my friend to help me with my 2001 Passport I just bought, it has 159k miles runs and sounds good but no maintenance records and i dont know how to check the transmission quality, if it feels good on the road should that mean the trans is in good condition?
@LooseNut4 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry I didn't see this comment when you posted it a while back. How's your 2001 Passport doing?
@tougeruzbay3 жыл бұрын
The trans setup is same as in a manuel transmission for drain and fill plugs, won't cost much to take it to the shop for the mechanics to replace the fluid
@gtrotter076 жыл бұрын

Whne I upgrade my car and I decide to stay in the Honda family, I am definitely considering a Honda Passport, even though it's technically an Isuzu Rodeo, I personally prefer the Honda logo better. i wish they still made these, and i wish these didn't have at rust problem on the 1998-2002 models. Will have to settle for a super clean well maintained black 1997 model. Do you still own your Passport?
@hunchback23411 жыл бұрын
I have a honda passport as well.. and i absolutly love the thing.. the only thing that gives me trouble is the gas milage.. my car has 113000 miles on it and it still runs like a damn dream

is the clicking sound in the motor normal for a Honda Passport?
@LooseNut7 жыл бұрын
bgalavizful yes, it's normal for the Isuzu 3.2L V6 to have sticky hydraulic lash adjusters which causes the ticking sound
@bgalavizful7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! that helped me alot
@hippieJOSH4203 жыл бұрын
I just tell people it's a diesel
@kavak1344 Жыл бұрын
My 95 did it, and Amsoil truly helped with the ticking and went a lot longer than other synthetics. The ticking never affected the vehicle, though. It was a nimble, off-roading beast, and I miss it...

hey bro i have a question, what do you think about a isuzu rodeo 2wd? i have one and i would like used it to climb some incline and another Steep terrains
@LooseNut7 жыл бұрын
You can do some pretty moderate terrain in 2WD. A limited slip or a locker in the rear differential will help quite a bit.
