Thanks Bro ! Well start with the basics like any car check that all doors fenders etc are aligned. Make sure when you open the hood that the frame itself.is aligned and not bent . Just to make sure it didnt go through a major accident. Then check the engine , make sure all liquids have the right amount and tamang color. Power steering should be bright red in color and no burnt smell, brake fluid should be clear in color, oil should be relatively clean and not to thick. Ask for maintenance records ofcourse. Check for any leaks from the top of the engine ( valve cover gasket) check underneath if u can raise the car the better for any leaks also. Start the car make sure that the rpm is steady at around 800 to 1000 rpm , no white smoke or black smoke coming out from the exhaust. Then go and check the engine again while it running should be no rattles or squeeks. ( check the oil filler cap also and try to use a flash light inside the oil filler cap and see if its oil lang inside the engine) should be no mix of coolant and oil if it looks merky or they say chocolate milkshake in color WALK AWAY ! . then test drive the car open the window while driving to hear the engine , make sure all buttons electronics work and no warning lights on the dash. Then transmission should be nice and smooth with no rough jerkiness when changing gears. Then have it scanned also 😁 hope this helps you !

Depends on the anti theft system installed in the car in this case it really just sounds the alarm if a attempted person tries to trip the alarm system. It can also wheel and steer lock the car so the car wont move . Sa salamin they can destroy the glass for sure pero automatic the anti theft system will sound

Well honestly the ac system of the bmw e36 is not the best its not super cold when you need it to be. Thats why a good tint is a must on this car. The e46 fixed the problem of the e36 in terms of the ac system. For some ok they get use to it. Pero for me personally I need a good ac system as sobrang init sa atin 😂

One car that I've always wanted ay yung Mitsubishi Galant GTi. One helluva car. If you can get your hands sa isang unit na okay, maybe you can feature it. Ang hirap lang maghanap ng matinding unit. hi being a older car you do have to do preventive maintenance for sure. parts are not that expensive for a bmw. good daily as its small and fuel efficient for sure. just make sure not to get parts at casa as they charge way more. in terms of normal oil change brake pads suspension etc same as altis civic for sure

Nakabili ako last month ng 1998 M43 316i medyo malakas sya sa gasolina pag traffic pero try ko palinis ang MAF sensor at palit spark plug baka tumipid sya sa gasolina.

In regards to the parts for this bmw which is the e36 and ill add the e46 also parts are easy to come by and also at par with prices of owning a vios altis civic etc. There is a misconception Patrick with german cars being expensive to maintain. Yes some are depends.with the model and generation. Pero the e36 like i said in the video is a good starter bmw to own as parts are very easy to get nowadays facebook club members are willing to help and provide parts at reasonable prices. I advice never to go to casa after warranty is done on the car :)

Ofcourse before buying the e36 na gusto mo have it scanned and if.pwede.lifted to check the underneath of the car. Like any car wear and tear parts will be a factor. So suspension. Cooling and brake system. And common problem.with e36 and other bmw models at this era would be the use of plastics for the cooling system. So i suggest to replace it to none plastic parts na which allot supply na for this car. Marami suppliers for this car so hindi ka mahihirapan to buy parts. Shops like delodur, bimparts, euro parts, twincell, bimmer monkeys and many more . All have facebook pages. In terms of cost of ownership same.lang then a civic or altis in terms of cost ng parts. Ang key talaga is how u maintain your cars at the end of the day 🙂 hope this helps you
