I bought new radiator from eBay for $87.39 (with free shipping).
All work was done from top only! No need to do some work under car!
First time fill new radiator with water ONLY !!! Check for leaks! Take a DRIVE TEST for 30 MINUTES and check again for water leaks. If all looks good, drain the water and refill with antifreeze coolant.

I plan to do this job in a couple of days (when the rain stops). I'm budgeting at least 6 hours. You never know what you may come up against. Also, ideally, you would have another vehicle available to run to the parts store in case it's needed.

Nothing like filing on the new radiator because the condenser is taco'ed, as the old radiator came out with a v shape. @7:00 pulling out the two condenser to radiator bolts at the bottom requires you to pull the secondary black plastic that is engrained into the plastic bumper. The engineers just laughed when they did that. If you look through the holes near the bottom of the bumper where the bolts are you will see there is already a hole almost where the bolt heads are just a little off the edge behind the plastic. Personally, I am going to cut the plastic so you can get straight access to the bolts, now and in the future. This is deep inside where you will never be able to see the cut plastic unless you are laying on the ground in front looking into the cavity. If you are working on this, you will see that to cut the plastic is no big deal to gain direct access to the bolts. That way you only have to take out the plastic at the top near the hood latch and not the other piece that is clipped into the bumper where you can't get at the clips. There is no reason to take out the second pain in the ass piece of plastic at the top. The service manual probably tells you to discharge the A/C and remove the condenser with the radiator. P/S I am an ASE certified diagnostic technician/mechanic with 40 years experience. I came here because I didn't feel like loading up my AllData and they are skimpy on procedures anyway. I'm always willing to learn an easier way.

@@FixitAll What I discovered is those two lower condenser bolts hidden behind plastic was actually metal and I didn't feel like cutting that. The condenser and radiator as a package move towards the engine a little bit after pulling it up out of the rubber bushings at the bottom, of course everything else is already disconnected. So I just snuck in there with my Snap-On swivel handle baby ratchet and took them out that way instead.

I just put a radiator in my 1998 Chrysler Tow and Country about 4 years ago and already leaking like crazy. Looks like it is leaking on the driver side at the bottom - might be the small line that is for the cooler but hard to tell. Looks like yours has those small lines going to the radiator as well.

Could you have pulled the radiator out with the fan attached? Then removed the fan? Also, install the fan on the radiator before mounting it back into engine?

samdroidva I think no. There is no space to remove clamp from buttom coolant hose

@@FixitAll I had a new lower hose so..... Cut that old one off with a razor. So much easier, as my clamp was oriented the hard way to access.

@@kubujusss What surprised me was the fact that I replaced the radiator on my 3.8 liter 2006 caravan in about an hour, but the '99 Voyager 3.3 liter radiator replacement was a pain in the butt. I wasn't expecting that!
