That quad is a beauty. I have the exact same quad, but a 2002. Mine is mint as well, but did a bunch of work so I don’t have surprises in the bush. Looks like your air filter doesn’t have any spray on the filter (looks completely dry). On mine, you have to spray that air filter… nice vid, let’s see that carburetor vid. I replaced mine, too. Super easy job.

@@arsenaultsgarageI had a guy bring me a couple quads, he was certain they had gotten bad fuel from fueling station on their way to the trails. They both ran terrible and put out a bit of smoked. Long story short,,, the air filters were soaked with filter oil. A good washing and new spark plug was the fix. 🤦♂️ Before I learned,,, I was an over oiler myself.

My 02 450 has 160 hours. I can’t get th carb adjusted correctly after it warms up it just wants to die.

i have a 99 es shifts perfect with 11,998 miles runs and looks perfect . beats the pants off all others cause its small and powerful and its a honda

What did you eventually find was wrong! bad gas or carb? Thanks for the video

@tommcdonald53 It was the stator that had a lose wire as the machine reached half throttle it would cause the machine to cough out. New stator and it plowed snow all winter. Thanks for watching:)
