Great video! I just put a deposit on a 2120 and am thinking about getting a snowblower for it. Other than what you show, was there more assembly to the blower itself or did it come on the crate that way? Also, did you get a discount on it for taking it unassembled to the tractor and if so, do you mind sharing roughly what that discount was?

Bushings fixed clunk on my 2011 “classic” -makes me feel better seeing the rusted oil pan on your2019😒-not looking forward to that job I have to drop my front diff apparently…. edit to add- not sure about new rams but there are different diameter sway bars on the 09-20s - I bought wrong size bushings at first, but at least it’s a cheap easy job! Almost at 170k so I’m slowly replacing most of the front end parts at this point🤷‍♂️

I have a 2011 and I hit a pothole and since then & I hear a sound similar to his, but that sound happens when in uneven roads but I hear the sound by the top of the dashboard passenger side… I was wondering if that’s the same sound yours had? I got it aligned and checked twice for any damage in any of the links connected with the wheel everything is good they tell me, but I’m wondering it could be that. Thank you.

@@William76850 check the sway bar end link bushings, where it connects at the ends there should be two samwiching on each side I needed to replace all those as well. If you slammed it on one pothole make sure you didn’t blow the shock out in your strut, and that the three bolts on the top that hold shock/strut aren’t loose. Lastly try to check lower control arm bushing and ball joints, tie rod ends as any of them could produce clunk if worn out

IS this after you installed the bushings? If so I would add more grease to the bushings. Also against the frame to bushing. Poly bushings if not greased will squeak.

So I saw this video a few days ago after I replaced my swap bar links and still had a clunk. 2020 1500. I went to advanced auto for the bushings and decided why not for $30. As soon I cut the first one off I was like no shot this is it because it still felt really good. I greased the new one and installed it. Did other side just because and went for a ride. My god how long that’s been driving me crazy. It’s finally quiet again. Great video. Helped me a lot.

I’ve got a 2019 ram rebel after about 20,000 on it it made it knocking noise in the suspension only when it would get 40° and below in the winter. summertime. You would never hear it took it into the Dodge dealership five times always said they could not find what was causing the noise Finally convinced them to replace the swaybar links thinking that was it and it was not now it’s out of warranty and now I’m thinking it’s the bushings as well. Drives me effing crazy in the winter. If this fixes it, I’m going to be happy as heck and mad as hell the dealership could never figure it out.

My 2019 rebel has been clunking on the left front for well over a year. It’s definitely worse when it gets cold out. Dealer replaced end links. Didn’t help. Put a whole new sway bar on and that didn’t help either. I tried this bushing swap and it didn’t help. I’ve checked torque on upper and lower control arms and that didn’t help. So I have the “clunk” and took it to the dealer at 68k. They changed the sway bar end links and nothing changed. They told me it was good. Then we found the CV joints were failing, so they replaced those as well, nothing changed. So now I’m dealing with the “clunk” and i ran across this video, went and checked my sway bar myself and it was solid but I decided to buy these and try them anyways after watching your video. Very easy job, less that 20 minutes, and this thing is now extremely quiet and seems to be a more solid ride. If it wasn’t for your video I wouldn’t have even thought to look at this. Thanks so much

My grandparents 1992 Honda fourtrax 300 carburetor went bad. It is $370 for a brand new Honda brand one on ebay(the are plug and play. they are adjusted from factory), but the four wheeler was not worth sticking that kind of money into it, so we sold it. My 2008 honda rancher with fuel injection has only had one problem. It would go into de-rate mode. I installed a brand new $135 electric fuel pump and that fixed it. It's been running great for the last 8 years.

VW . . . (and Subaru, Mercedes, BMW, Audi etc) I would suspect that the threads on the inner stem failed because the material is so thin after cutting the threads. All it takes is a bit of torque to break the thread. Best of luck fixing this. The tire must be removed.

@firemanjay1472

Very typical sight if you work in a tire shop- caused by sun/UV exposure, plus every time you speed up/slow down the valve stem is flexing in/out slightly due to centrifugal force. Unfortunately customer needs to make sure Tire shops periodically install new stems with new tires, it’s not just a money grab like some people think, it’s actually preventative maintenance for your safety!

Actually talking to my mechanic friend said no it happens the valve stem just fails. I tighten it just like I have since I have had been putting air in tires for like 35 years. It did not take much pressure to pop out into my hand.. Crazy thing I put 40 psi in the tire with it pushed back in and it stayed I would not trust it but it stayed.

Hmm sound like the nut in the frame stripped or weld broke. IF its the frame that has the tread in it you could try to tap in new larger threads or use a t bolt in the frame rail. Not sure the how the Dakota is setup for the sway bar. Example of t bolts. www.framingtech.com/products/fasteners/t-bolts/ or a.co/d/7eaeQIt
