When sportscasting was more about the actual sport and not all about the entertainment factor. I miss those days. Without a doubt Hubie Brown is one of the most brilliant Basketball minds ever. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the game, his vocal articulation, cadence and chrisma is also top tier. Best of the best. RIP Rick Majerus.

@manuginobilisbaldspot4242 жыл бұрын
They would've just ended up having to trade Pierce or Dirk the same way they did with Stackhouse...AI was a chucker and those guys would've negatively benefitted from it. The reality is, the 2001 team was as good as it was going to get for an Iverson team. He had a second scorer in Melo and could barely win a playoff GAME, let alone a series.
@WorldwideWyatt2 жыл бұрын
Iverson couldn’t share the ball and didn’t put in the time or work necessary to be a champion. Dirk and Pierce both won chips after Iverson was already washed.
@itsmeitstrue2 жыл бұрын
@@WorldwideWyatt Yeah Iverson certainly had his flaws as fantastic a player as he was. Even dating back to his Georgetown days he was only able to play one way. Very ball dominant and all out. Part of the reason he wore out, all those minutes at 100%. I always wonder though if he had one more really talented offensive player in philly, what those teams mighta been capable of. At least he couldve been allowed more rest instead of playing over 40 mpg. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ Your right though, "The Answer" for all his greatness, his teams never won the big one dating back to his college days aswell.
@IDontBuyIt502 жыл бұрын
@@itsmeitstrue you can also argue the other direction with a supporting cast, that as much as he chucked and with his shooting percentage without someone like Mutombo to rebound some of those misses Iverson doesn't even make a playoff run at all.
@ralphumali7542 жыл бұрын
