I used to work on this car during an intership in a racing company, it was such an honor ! Full carbon fiber, a masterpiece v12 that just never gets old, and talented mechanics that follow the car everywhere it goes.. Really nice to see it again there !

I just love 90s-2000s race cars. Stick shift sequential, no fancy aero drs and hybrid shits, around 600hp, no overly strict sound limit I mean, just look at how he shifts!! It's a lot more satisfying than paddleshifts in anyway

Bozzy, you wouldn't even believe how much I'd like to thank you for the sound quality of this onboard. That noise, I first heard it in 2001, when this car debuted, there were actually some onboard cams installed in the car... now 20 years later, in a sound quality that finally resembles the same V12 oompf as I've heard it back then, just incredible.

I recall an article way back when about these Prodrive developed 550. Colin Mcrae had a go in one at Le Mans. They were a weapon and managed a few race victories in various GT classes. I think that caught the eye of Ferrari themselves and made them decide they wanted a piece of the action, so they ended up creating the 575GTC.

The 550 GTS Maranello is one of the greatest, most beautiful and most successful GT cars in Ferrari history. It won basically everything it could win...FIA GT Championship titles (2003, 2004, 2005), 24h of Le Mans (2003 in GT class), Spa 24h (2004) + many other races. Great racing machine was created in collaboration with Ferrari and Prodrive.

The Ferrari 550 GTS is one of the best early-to-mid 2000s race cars in the GT1 class and easily one of my favourites. :) Plus the amazing engine sound and exhaust notes makes it even better especially with racing games like GTR2 definitely getting the sounds nearly on point with the real thing. :D

The first Prodrive 550 chassis woke me up during morning warmup at the Petit LeMan back in 2000 or 2001? Not sure what year, but she was the most glorious alarm clock ever, screamin down that long back straight at Road Atlanta.

I was at Laguna in 2002 and Sears Point in 2003 and have very specific memories of this car. It was the only car I can remember that physically hurt going by on whichever part of the circuit you were. The higher pitch that's in that V12 was ear splitting. Oof.

They need to use this as their F1 car.
