Wow! I'm so glad you are reacting to this. Steve Hackett is my favorite rock guitarist, and his solo work and work with Genesis is some of the finest rock music I know. He's done a number of acoustic albums, including Sketches of Satie (based on the music of Erik Satie), with his brother, John, on flute. The only time I saw Steve Hackett live, he was on his acoustic trio tour (piano, flute, and guitar), and half the show was him on guitar. I think I'm rambling now, but thank you so much for re-recording this!

Steve has recorded two BEAUTIFUL classical guitar albums with his own compositions (Bay of King and Momentum). Thanks for your nice reaction.

You should listen to Steve on his A Midsummer Night's Dream. He plays the entire album on classical guitar with Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Very nicely done to.Your respect for his classical guitar work will go way up.

The opening to Blood On The Rooftops has some nice acoustic guitar, and the rest of the song is very good too.

So many truly great acoustic songs by Steve it's hard to know what to recommend but definitely check out The Journey, one of the best acoustic tracks ever imho.
