I've been looking for an excellent example of a Mercedes 300SD for a while now and finally ran across a one-family owner car. This video documents the initial retrieval of the car and gives a basic overview to include some of the initial maintenance.
In retrospect the third brake light that I mention in the video was probably added by the original owner. This was fairly common for people to do on pre 1985 cars during the time as it was considered a good safety feature.

Hey how has your experience with the forward lift bp9 been? Any issues or complaints?

Only issue I had was the passenger hydraulic ram had a little leak. It was replaced by the installer under factory warranty. It's been bullet proof otherwise. But even when it leaked it did not affect the function of the lift. Just had to add fluid once in a while.

You sure that is Mercedes? Sounds like a air cooled VW bug to me. Lol!
