Love him or hate him, Chris has been doing almost daily uploads on youtube for the past 15 years. Sure, he's missed a few days here and there but his dedication to youtube is almost unmatched by anyone else. His earlier videos were more exciting, especially in the Buddy Van Doodle days, but everyone grows up eventually, right? lol. It's good to see him on the Deboss channel.

@@79huddy As far as I know, David from "David's Farm" was convicted of that shit.... Pug was not involved with that stuff. However, he did have other legal trouble when he used force to stop someone from breaking into his truck when he lived in St Thomas.... Unfortunately that person breaking into his vehicle was an underage girl. Pug didn't know that at the time because this person was wearing a ski mask, or something like that. He figured it was an adult male criminal, but it wasn't. At least that's what I remember, it's been a LONG time since I gave that stuff any thought. But a S/O, no that is not true as far as I know.

I met Chris back in the day at Dave's Farm when I went to pick up the Lincoln Continental before Dave was going to destroy it. That was before all the drama and when Chris was injured. With all the crazy stuff going on it was a matter of time before someone was hurt.

I retired as a UPS driver from back in the 90s early 2000s - the Grumman-Olsen P700 with the 4bt and NV manual trans was the absolute best delivery vehicle bar none. Now everything is automatic and it makes delivering MISERABLE when you're making 200+ stops a day. (Also delivered FedEx Ground 4 years and then post office for 4 more years) I know my delivery trucks 😄

I started watching Pug over 14 years ago, the Dave's Farm days. Buddy, 3.73 gears are not gonna be enough, you gotta put 3.08s in the back, I'm pretty sure if it's a 14 bolt those are available, that'll drop the rpms 25% and it's a 12V it'll pull them no problem, advance the timing, turn up the pump a little, make sure the dowel of death inside the timing cover is blocked in place or peen the opening sonit can't come out like Low Buck Garage did and send it. If the rpms are still a touch high, maybe stick some 255/85r16s on the back, those are 34" diameter instead of 31.5" if they're 235/85r16s, it might lose a touch of "jump" off the line but, it's a big box van anyway it's silly to romp on it much, she'll go great once she's wound up on the highway. The tallest skinny 16 tires I know of are military tires that come in 255/100r16, they might be a bit rugged of tread, probably wouldn't be so bad on the back as long as you had nice smooth steering tires on the front that would probably be much smaller diameter. Other wise maybe convert it to singles or go to 19.5s that come in larger diameters like 35" tall narrow dually sizes, hoops and casings aren't cheap these days so gears are probably the best place to start. Go with 3.08s.

I have the 1988 version p30 Grumman short box with the 6.2 gm .it's an old postal truck I was able to insure it with Hagerty as vintage commercial .and it is the best driving with the doors open , that's partly why I bought it. Cheers from Hamilton

That’s a nice van. Sounds great and as mentioned maybe just needs a better ratio on the rear end. Dumped this video earlier and went to Puglife’s channel. He’s been fixing a couple of rust holes on his truck. No ‘dry state’ body swap nonsense the man has been doing ‘real’ repairs.
