"Over packing" our creature comforts: If you didn't take that "extra something" you'll probably miss it or need it. "FREEDOM" Isn't it funny: when we were kids we always told parents where we were going. We insisted our kids tells us where they are going. We also found that when we camped (as adults) we were calling our kids and telling them where we were going. lol "Not to worry" I guess. Those trees were surely something never seen before and of course, the flowers and the view of the water from up high was fantastic. Thanks for sharing with all of us.

North Berwick - never been there until you took me. Beautiful gardens with a lovely floral display. Used to go to Yellowcraigs with the annual taxi drivers outing for special needs schools. My daughter was at a special needs school 21 years ago. The taxi drivers were so good with the children and so kind, giving up a day’s work. Great memories. 🥰 Loved your vlog. X

Yes! Freedom! How I wish we have a campervan. We always do camping. Not last year because of covid. We did once this year in Devon. Hopefully another one or if not next year. We we're just in north Berwick last week. A very beautiful place.

We love watching your videos. We live in Australia now, but belong West Lothian. Miss Scotland so much, we used to go camping with our dogs then progressed to caravaning, toured Europe and the UK but Scotland was the best, not that I am biased lol.

We enjoyed Yellowcraig site very much. It has some great walks for dogs and humans.

A great video. Like the campsite. I'm in the middle of loading my van up for our week in Shieldaig and then to Mull for 2nd week. Got my magnets, jars and metal strip. Oops! Forgot the velcro. That should arrive tomorrow 😄

I believe trees like your candelabra tree were trained to grow in a specific way hundreds of years ago by ship makers to make the stem posts at the bow of a ship. I guess they were made from a hardwood like oak.I don't know what variety your tree was,maybe it's just a coincidence.

Thanks Mike and Trish (and Keira, of course!) - another lovely and informative vlog! We are still limited for travel in Norn Irn, but anyway my van collection has been delayed until June (Brexit and/or Covid delays on supply of habitation items) - still 'discussing' where to go for our first trip - Scotland or Ireland? Mrs W wants to go south, so I suspect Scotland will have to wait until the autumn..... But your vlog has certainly given us something to look forward to!

Hi - another entertaining and very informative vlog. We really enjoy the commentary style - very relaxing to listen to. On the campsite were you using a sun canopy with side attachments? And if you were does that incur the awning fee that the club sites usually charge? I know a sun canopy is free (we have a fiamma on our vw campervan) and we are thinking of getting side panels as an easy way of providing shelter (we had a Vango awning but gave it away as it really was hard stressful work putting it up and taking it down) . Cheers
